Demoing LatentScore at ACM Multimedia 2026 in Rio

I’ll be demoing LatentScore in the Open Source Software track at ACM Multimedia 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, November 10-14. Read the research post or try the demo.

For those unfamiliar, LatentScore generates procedural music from text on CPU. No audio samples, no GPU. It’s Apache 2.0 on GitHub and pip install latentscore gets you running.

This track reviews the code rather than a write-up about the code, which suits the project. A lot of open-source ML ships as a license and a checkpoint you need a cluster to run. I’d rather people just try it on the laptop they already have.

If you’ll be in Rio and want to chat, reach out on LinkedIn. There’s a SIGGRAPH talk and a NIME short paper from earlier this year if those are closer.
